A tough introduction to the
new season for Harpenden Under 11's. Cambridge
took advantage of a half-time lead and built a commanding position with
4 tries and 3 conversions. The Harpenden scrum fought hard and the commitment
was there from the whole team but it
wasn't to be.
In the second match newcomer George Maddick threw everything into the game Josh Henderson scored a cracking run for a dramatic try both were voted Players of the week. Conor Barry scored a brilliant charging try which James Lamburn ably converted. Despite all Harpenden's efforts though Cambridge finished 2 points ahead. |
