COLTS Fixtures 2007-2008

We narowly lost the Herts County Cup Semi-Final against Bishops Stortford Sun 6 April 2008. A tough match against a hard physical side. Harpenden gave 150% but could not overcome. Quite a few U19's played against us and the forwards could not compete against a stronger Bishops Stortford side.

What a great season for Harpenden we finished runners up in the League and Semi finalists in the County Cup.

We only conceded two matches all season a credit to all concerned you should all be very proud. A huge thank you to all the players this season and to Tony and Nick for guiding the team all season .

Fo rthose moving on to University/Gap Year/Work it has been a pleasure to be assoicated with you all.

NEXT and final occasion this year is the Colts 7's

Venue: Harpenden RFC

Registration Time: no later than 1.00 in the small bar in the clubhouse - please ask for Dave Sharpe.

First matches: 1.40

Final: 6.00 approx (exact time will depend on the final number of teams entering)

We will field from a squad of 22 two teams. Tony andNick will be in touch.

IMPORTANT BEFORE FIRST LEAGUE MATCH :-

Don't forget you should be registered with the RFU. If you have not got your player card let me know.

REMINDER - Gum Guards are for your own safety and to avoid injury please ensure that you get a fitted gum guard. Check your boots fit you. Ask the coaches if you need information or speak to your dentist. Studs should be aluminium and kite marked, referees will check and you will be unable to play unless you have the right kit. All protective clothing should have the IRB label inside.
